Samantha Zivin

Samantha Zivin

Originally from Chicago, Samantha Zivin grew up in Plano, Texas- right in the heart of both the Big-12 and C-USA conferences. She graduated in May from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Marketing and a BA in History. Her hobbies include traveling and horseback riding.

In every job interview, employers are always impressed when I tell them about my time with FOX [Sports] University! The experience has been invaluable in every way.

I’m so glad I got the opportunity to participate in FOX [Sports] University. I learned so much!

FOX [Sports] University gave me real-world experience while still a student. From start to finish, we got to see how our work progressed and changed throughout the process.

Jessica Webb

Jessica Webb

Jessica was born and raised in Oklahoma City, and after graduating from high school, she moved to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University.  She has spent the past four years studying Marketing in the Cox School of Business. She is currently searching for a career in the marketing field that will allow her to combine her knowledge of the marketing world with her creative abilities.

The [FOX Sports] University Program and working with Fox Sports Southwest has been the most valuable, hands-on experience I have had throughout my college career.

This program allowed me to apply the marketing concepts I learned in the classroom to a real world project.

Through the [FOX Sports] University Program, I developed valuable skills that I will utilize throughout my professional career.

Caroline Stapleton

Caroline Stapleton

Caroline Stapleton is a Maryland native, SMU alum, and headed to California. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from SMU as a Marketing major and Psychology minor. She also led SMU’s Lacrosse Team as captain for two years and was awarded All-American. Her interests include Bikram Yoga, exploring, and spending time with friends and family.

All of my coursework in the Cox School of Business culminated in the execution of our Sofa Stadium campaign.

As a team we really learned to appreciate the habit of goal setting; this will be invaluable in a work environment.

This experience reinforced the importance for Marketing Research. Translating marketing research to creative ideas yields a winning idea.

Jeremy Moran

Jeremy Moran

Jeremy Moran is from Greenwich, Connecticut. He graduated Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Marketing and a BA in Psychology. During his SMU tenure, he completed four marketing internships for various companies in New York and Dallas. His main hobbies are tennis and golf. Following graduation, he will begin working for Sabre Holdings, Inc. in Southlake, TX.

[FOX Sports] University teaches you how to work efficiently in professional groups in a way that simply cannot be taught in classrooms.

I would recommend [FOX Sports] University to any marketing or advertising student who wants a truly valuable experience outside of the typical classroom setting.

[FOX Sports] University gave me hands-on experience like nothing I had ever experienced before in past internships.

Lauren Miller

Lauren Miller

Lauren is from Darien CT and graduated from SMU in May 2013 with a BBA in Marketing. She starts her full time employment with HRC Fund Associates, a finance firm on Wall Street, in NYC in June! She has always been a huge sports fan and loved working with Fox University.

This project was the most time-consuming and challenging process I faced at SMU but it was also the most fun.

I not only learned the importance of teamwork, I also walked away with four new friends.

I would recommend this to all hard-working seniors because it makes your resume stand out.
